Common questions

Straight answers on cost, timeline and what it takes to build a pool in the Pacific Northwest.

How much does a custom pool cost in the Seattle area?

Every pool is engineered for its site, so pricing varies with size, structure, finishes and access. Most of our custom in-ground builds start in the low six figures. We give a clear, itemized proposal after the first consultation — no surprises once the steel goes in.

How long does it take to build a pool?

A typical Cascade Poolworks build runs about 11–16 weeks from excavation to first swim, depending on structure, weather and finishes. Because pools are all we do, our crews keep projects moving instead of juggling unrelated jobs.

Do you handle permits, engineering and inspections?

Yes. We manage the full process — structural engineering, permitting, plumbing, steel, gunite/concrete, and every inspection — so you have a single accountable team from design through handover.

What areas do you serve?

We build across the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area, including Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Mercer Island, Edmonds, Snohomish and Bainbridge Island.

Do you really only build pools?

We do. Cascade Poolworks designs and builds pools, spas and their decks and equipment — nothing else. That focus is why our shells sit level on hard sites and our finishes hold up to Pacific Northwest weather.

Can you build on a sloped or tight-access lot?

Absolutely — hillside and constrained lots are some of our favorite projects. We over-engineer the shell to sit perfectly level on grade and plan tight-access logistics (hand-dig zones, craning steel) from day one.
